THE COMPANY

DEIRA INTERPROJECTS LIMITED was recently established to provide smart city solutions necessary for the enhancement of utility and infrastructural facilities in Nigeria by making the environment safe, habitable and friendly. This is achieved by collaborating with both private and public sector clients in consultancy, procurement and construction services with a view to improving functionality, efficiency and long term value.

To achieve these laudable goals, DEIRA works with reputable and specialized global players in key areas of operation, such as:

Submetering Services for Power, Water and Gas
DEIRA provides suite metering solutions to apartment buildings, condominiums and other multi-unit residential and commercial spaces. On a fully customized basis, we offer suite metering and billing services for utilities including electricity, water and gas.
Whether already outfitted, included in new construction or added in a later conversion, once a building is equipped to suite meter we assist landlords, property managers and condomium companies obtain precise readings, invoice accurate amounts, and collect payments. Suite Metering is the only fair way to allocate utility costs amongst Residents of multi-suite properties. Traditional Bulk Metering takes the aggregate of the building’s utility usage and costs, and then splits it up equally to all suites based on square footage. This is an unfair way of splitting utility costs.

Our range of barriers adapts to the constraints of your environment in terms of dimensions, security and vandalism. Sites such as military, airports, train stations, industrial facilities and government buildings demand a high level of security. For these applications, DEIRA provides security barriers for access and limited controls for site protection.

Abayomi Olufemi Oludotun

Chemical & Environmental Analyst
Oludotun, Olufemi Abayomi is a graduate of Industrial Chemistry with post-graduate qualifications in Chemical Engineering from University of Lagos. His work experience spans over fifteen years with opportunities in diverse tasks in Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS/EMS) Audit, Sanitation/Waste management, WaterTreatment/Management and Safety, Health & Environmental (HSE) Management, Procurement and Supply Management, as well as Sales and Marketing (Digital Media) in various industries including academia, manufacturing and consulting.

A central pivot in his career has been project implementation covering environmental assessment, urban development and chemical utilization management of various projects executed across Nigeria. In this respect, he worked as an Environmental Scientist with Hexon Environmental Consultants and Engineers Limited with co-ordinating role for environmental studies, assessments and audits with the World Bank, IFC and ISO guidelines.

He is a Certified Environmental Scientist with National Registry of Environmental Professionals, Glenview USA and a member of both Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers and Institute of Chartered Chemist of Nigeria, among others. Abayomi will be offering his consulting services as a Chemical and Evironmental Analyst.

Dave Van Rensburg

Head, Commercial & Energy
Innovative and results driven leader, Dave Van Rensburg is focused on achieving exceptional results in highly competitive environments that demand continuous improvement. Dave has had exciting and robust experience as Divisional Managing Director at UAC Restaurants overseeing the foremost QSR business in West Africa with over 1750 staff in Ghana and Nigeria, and later as General Manager, Marketing for The La Casera Company Plc.

During this period, he achieved both short and long term business objectives through culture alignment and commitment, brand and consumer insights, as well as brand communication to position the brand in the Food and Beverage Sector. Dave has an outstanding record of improving efficiency, productivity and profitability thus earning him a pioneering role as a Director in New Earth Energy based in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this position, he was directly responsible for sales and marketing of solar and battery systems to the domestic, industrial and commercial markets across Africa before becoming the Managing Director. As the Head of Commercial and Renewable Energy Sector, Dave Van Rensburg will no doubt bring his wealth of experience as a transformational leader with local knowledge and robust educational qualifications in business administration and general management to bear on the success of Deira Interprojects Limited.

Oyindamola Laleye

Head, Project Finance and Investment
ACCA qualified with a Masters degree in International Business, Oyindamola started her career journey in Akintola Williams Deloitte (one of the Global Big Four Accountancy Firms). She has built her expertise in the Finance and Compliance world across various industries working in top global firms both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Abiodun Iderawumi

Managing Director & CEO
Abiodun Iderawumi is an alumnus of London Business School, IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona; and a fellow of Institute of Directors, Nigeria; and holds a BSc. Degree in Agricultural Economics, Certificates in Market Driving Strategies and Advanced Management.

For over 35 years, his career has led him to specialize increasingly in the management of complex commercial projects. He has considerable experience in management consulting, project development and management, strategic forward planning, business planning, budgeting, fiscal management, methodical administration and the application of modern leadership methods to achieve corporate goals and objectives.

His entrepreneurial skills have earned him a leading position in various companies including Wetherheads Advertising Group Limited which he founded in 1994. As a mentor and coach for growing entrepreneurs, he recently founded Ignite Christian Businessmen Fellowship, ICBF and Christian Brands Directory is a non-profit which seeks to train, mentor and empower budding entrepreneurs in line with specific commercial objectives, so as to lift youths out of poverty and ensure sustainability.

Currently, he is a director on the board of several companies, and Chairman of Axis Electrical Components Nigeria Limited, where he brings over three decades of experience to bear on profitable management and growth, thus positioning the company as a leading player in consultancy and EPC projects in the power sector in Nigeria. He is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Deira Interprojects Limited.

Adeyemi Adenekan

Project Development & Quality Assurance Specialist
Adeyemi Adenekan holds a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Lagos and Diploma in Computer Science.

For over 20 years, Adeyemi worked in various organisations of repute, the last being with the Highways Department of Local Government in the United Kingdom. In this role, he was involved in various projects around the country before leaving on voluntary retirement as a Director. He will be joining Deira Interprojects Limited as a Project Development and Quality Assurance Specialist.
